Thermal frames Super Spacer® for base-price at no extra charge
Thermal frames Super Spacer® for base-price at no extra charge
Insulated glazing loses the most heat at the edge of the glass. Super Spacer® reduces heat loss at the edge of the glazing by about - 70% compared to aluminium edge spacers.
Considering door panels have small glass panes with large frames, this detail is particularly important.

Advantages of Super Spacer®:
- Up to 1,500 times less thermally conductive than aluminium frames
- Up to 65% warmer at the edge of the glass than aluminium frames
- Up to 70% less condensation than aluminium frames.
- Super Spacer® has only one insulated glazing connection while SwissSpacer requires all four corners to be connected with an ever increasing risk of argon escaping over time.
- The glass is joined to the Super Spacer® with a clear acrylic adhesive layer that forms part of the frame so nothing leaks into the space between glass panes, in contrast to black melt adhesive sealant and the common phenomenon seen in other spacers of potential leakage into the in-between space
